Continuum is now a charity

Continuum Choir is delighted to announce the launch of Continuum Choral Foundation, now registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (Charity No. 1212293). This marks a major development in Continuum’s journey and our long‑term commitment to shaping the future of choral music.

Our charity has been created to support the full breadth of our artistic and educational work, bringing together our professional ensemble, Continuum, and our emerging talent programme, Continuum Future. It reflects our belief that the choral tradition flourishes when excellence in performance is matched by meaningful investment in young singers with high potential. Through performances and recordings, the commissioning of new music, support for contemporary composers and fresh approaches to established repertoire, we aim to contribute to a tradition that remains alive, evolving and open to new voices.

Later in 2026 we will share news about our Emerging Talent programme, which sits at the heart of the Foundation’s educational purpose, offering free development opportunities to young singers aged 16–18.
