Harry Guthrie
Artistic Director
Harry Guthrie founded Continuum in 2019 and has since led the ensemble in concerts and recordings across England and Wales. His conducting work includes serving as Musical Director of Fulham Camerata and guest appearances with the Cambridge University Chamber Choir, the Rodolfus Choir and Ely Cathedral Choir.
Alongside his performing career, Harry is Head of Academic and Choral Music at Notting Hill and Ealing High School. His earlier roles in education include posts at Wells Cathedral School, St John’s College School, Cambridge, St Catharine’s College, Cambridge and Ely Cathedral. He continues to work annually with the Rodolfus Foundation, an organisation that played a formative role in his musical life.
Harry read Music at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he held a Choral Scholarship under Stephen Layton. Before university he was a Bass Choral Scholar at Wells Cathedral and sang with the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain.
He previously served as Director of Music at St Barnabas Church, Ealing.
