Shaping The Next Generation
Continuum Future is our regional talent programme for singers aged 16–18. We are starting in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough in January 2027, with more areas of the UK to follow over the next five years.
We are looking for four singers with exceptional promise who will likely be one soprano, alto, tenor and bass. You don’t need to come from a choral background; we’re looking for strong vocal potential, natural musicality, and a genuine commitment to working in a team.
Whether you sing in choirs, at school, in theatre, or just love singing on your own, you are welcome to apply.
Across six months, you will work closely with Continuum’s professional artists, developing your group singing skills, musicianship and confidence through five in-person weekend training days, and online mentoring.
You will be part of a small, supportive group, getting real insight into advanced music-making.
The programme ends with a performance in Cambridge as part of Continuum, giving you experience singing with a professional chamber choir.

How to Apply

Applications are open from 23rd September to 4th November and it is easy to apply. You’ll need to upload three things:
01
A short video of you singing
Up to two minutes, accompanied or unaccompanied, in any style you like. Choose something that shows off your voice clearly.

02
A short introduction to yourself
You can write this or record it as a video. We will guide you with a few simple questions to help you talk about your singing, why you are interested in the programme, and what you hope to get out of it.
03
A letter or video of support
This should come from a teacher - this can be a Music teacher, a singing teacher or another adult who can confirm they support your application.
You will also complete a consent form with your parent or guardian and let us know about any individual requirements for your audition.
Once we receive your application, we will review everything and get in touch. If you are invited to audition, the in-person audition day is on Saturday 21st November.
Everyone who auditions receives detailed feedback, whether successful or not.
